Travel freely. Always know where the money went.
Dayfare logs every expense in any currency, paces you against your budget, and turns the whole trip into something worth sharing, all on your iPhone, nothing in the cloud.
Everything a trip needs. Nothing it doesn't.
Two taps to log a coffee in Kyoto. One glance to know if you're on track. Dayfare keeps the math invisible so you can stay in the moment.
Log it in two taps, in any currency.
Type the amount, pick a category, done. Dayfare detects the local currency and converts to your home currency at the day's rate. Add a photo or a note if you want to keep the memory.
- Automatic local-currency detection
- Live exchange rates, applied for you
- Attach receipts, photos & notes
Today's number, the moment you need it.
One ring shows what you've spent today against your daily allowance. Glance at it over breakfast and you'll know: splurge on dinner, or keep it easy.
- Daily allowance, paced automatically
- Spent & remaining, at a glance
- Multi-city trips in one timeline
A budget that keeps up with your trip.
Set a number once. Dayfare spreads it across your days, projects where you'll land by the last night, and breaks every dollar down by category.
- Daily pacing with an allowance line
- Projected finish vs. your budget
- Full breakdown by category
Every expense, right where it happened.
Dayfare quietly tags each expense with a place, so your spending becomes a map of the trip: the ramen counter in Shibuya, the ryokan in Shinjuku, the train you almost missed.
- Automatic location tags
- Spending clustered by neighborhood
- Relive the whole route later
When the trip's over, get the recap.
Trip Wrapped sums up the whole journey: total spent, your biggest day, your top category, and exactly how you did against budget. Then turn any moment into a share card and post it.

Questions, answered.
How do I start a new trip?
Tap the + button on the Home tab, then set a name, dates, your home currency, and an optional budget. That's it. You're ready to log.
Can I log expenses in a foreign currency?
Yes. When adding an expense, pick the local currency. Dayfare converts it to your home currency automatically using the latest exchange rate, and remembers where you are so you rarely have to choose.
What's the difference between daily, multi-day, and one-time expenses?
Daily expenses count toward today's spending ring: meals, taxis, coffee. Multi-day costs like hotels are spread across nights. One-time expenses such as flights count in the trip total but not your daily spending.
Where is my data stored?
On your iPhone, using Apple's SwiftData. Dayfare has no servers and no accounts, and your trips are included in your regular iCloud device backup.
Why does Dayfare ask for location, camera, or photo access?
Location auto-detects the local currency and tags expenses with where you were. Camera and Photos let you attach receipts and memories. All of it is optional, and everything stays on your device.
Your next trip starts on budget.
